I love to read books of Charles Dickens. Currently I am reading his famous novel Oliver Twist. It is my all time favorite novel.

It's not bad, but it does paint a rather depressing picture of recreational use. I remember as a child, that book was INSTRUMENTAL in demonizing drugs by parents. That was the book that scared parents for their children's generations (which is ironic because it was written by a member or MY mom's generation... lol)
I remember reading it thinking, "Wow... it's about hippies."
And then I found Burroughs.

Now I am checking out the Strain series by Guillermo Del Toro and Chuck Hogan. I am not typically a fan of vampire-horror, but Del Toro and Hogan do it pretty damned good. The books play out in my head just like a movie. Very well done. The eclipse segment in the first book was rather drawn out though.

I've got A Tale of Two Cities on my shelf waiting to be read. Just getting through one or two more books and I'm gonna start it.

tale of two cities is sooooo good, you're gonna love it.
reading IQ84 by Murakami atm.. been near the end for a long time and havn't been reading, not really the biggest fan of this one, seems to drag a bit. been listening to some audiobooks of Jean M. Auel's clan of the cave bear series while i'v been working last couple weeks, they're decent, interesting look at how early humans might have lived.
