Well, we'll have to agree to disagree on this one. I think many, many people had an awfully good idea that it was extremely unlikely that Saddam had WMD. Wolfowitz himself said WMD was just the excuse that they thought they could get away with.
If you seriously believe Bush sat there going "The man has WMD so we have to invade, we are in serious danger of being attacked by Iraq" then we'll have to disagree. I don't think he wanted to invade Iraq because of WMD for a single second.

If the USA decided to hold israel accountable for it's BAD BEHAVIOR on Palestine, made some mandates, Israel agreed to them, and then Ignored them for a DECADE, would you support a War to enforce them?
Israel has ignored scores of UN resolutions for THIRTY years and hasn't been invaded yet.
