    #1785170 - 08/06/03 01:31 PM (20 years, 8 months ago)

I'm been wondering how easy it is to do pf-tek. I mean if i follow the direstions will i get shrooms or is there a good chance of failure? Curious to hear some info before i go but the supplies.

PF Tel is very good for beginners to jump into the hobby. But when you can, do move on.

It works, it's dead simple.  Here're the keys, IMO, to success:

1:  Follow directions.
2:  Make a Poor Man's Pod with airstones for humidification and air exchange.
3:  Use tyvek.
4:  Be patient, and keep up with the FAQs.

swim thinks pf tek is simple for beginners but swim thought it wasn't worth it to go by it, low yeilds is what convinced sim to go with grain instead.

you know, the government used the PF tek just to see if it worked before they busted PF :mad2:. As we all know how fucked up the US government is, if THEY can get it to work, ANYONE can.

True, but isn't a half or more of dried shrooms worth $10 worth of verm and BRF? I would reccomend the PF Tek to every newbie that has not grown before. My friends success with it proved that to me. It also teaches you a whole lot about how they grow.
