NIA - National Inflation Association Newsletter
The NIA Newsletter is a watchdog on inflation and possible hyperinflation in the USA. They occasionally give stock profiles and are bullish on agricultural and PM stocks for the near future. Generally a good source of information.

Zerohedge, is a really good site. Check out Morgan Stanley's economical websight, for "dope" economical analysis! This entity, makes some really nice calls/scenarios (besides the obvious), for global economics. A great team there, at Morgan Stanley! Far better calls and views, than Goldman. Really good stuff. And Caing Online, has a lot of super star economists and traders on there sharing their views. Another great site! Andy Zie, shares his views on there and he's one to listen to.

I do my best to avoid the "news" sources (cnbc, msnbc, thestreet, wsj)... it is rare to find something that is providing a new/realistic/though provoking perspective on anything economic.
As others have pointed out, Zerohedge is outstanding. Must visit a few times a day. JSMineset.com is also worth reading.
May I also suggest:

Mish's GETA *gotta read Mish*
The subscription that I have - AND LOVE - is Shadow Stats and is a MUST for anyone who is looking to have a true understanding of what our economy is facing. Forget the government stats, this tells you what is really going on.
Finally, while not purely economic per se, I find that listening to Gerald Celente interviews worthwhile for additional perspectives on Financial and Political events.

I know this is an old thread. It doesn't surprise me, finance doesn't exactly titillate everyone. But I think the economist must be mentioned. I'm a subscriber to the weekly print journal. But you don't have to pay a dime to use the websites resources and get access to a lot of the great material that this journal puts out on a weekly basis. As an economics major, I've cited the economist more frequently in my papers than any other single publication. You have to register to get access, but it's free for a lot of stuff.

I'd just generally recommending subscribing to the podcast 'NPR Planet Money', as it is interesting and makes you think. Also 'The Bottom Line With Evan Davies' for similar making you think ness.
That is all.

I listen to a daily podcast called Power Trading Radio. It really helped get me into the idea of trading stocks. I since have purchased this stock training course for $250 and am gonna spend the next 6 months going through the trainings, learning about the market, and saving money to make some moves.

Any updates on this list or any worthwhile podcasts to listen to besides the two mentioned in an earlier post? Thanks
