Yea, he has 80 degress temp, MMGG tek, as closely followed as possible, and PF strain. I hope it works, his party will be phat.

Depending on whether he has ideal conditions, tek and the strain that he is using he may be able to pull it off with some luck

Depending on what kind of "party" it is, I may or may not reccomend the use of a living sacrement.

On the other hand, what day did he inoc, and how much time was there in between that day and the party? Is he a newbie? What strain? Where'd he get th spores? How many cc's per jar?

But as for the others:
He is kind of a newbie. He had tried before, and only ended up with one full shroom. There were aborts, contams etc.

The party is on the 8th of June. A little less than 4 weeks.

He innoculated Firday mid morning. With a little less than 1cc per jar.

I hope that's it.

I did my own experimenting. I innoculated all jars but one with 1cc, and the last I did 2cc's, it seriously sped up the colonization. saved me about a week and a half on that cake. good luck making the deadline.

Well, today is day three and a half. There is no growth yet, but unlike his last batch, the jars smell fine. Maybe he should expect a little longer time for the mycelium to show up, he only innoculated each jar with less than 1cc. If no growth shows up in the next few days, would it be safe to innoculate with a different, better syringe. Also, what is PF's policy on replacing syringes? My friend thanks you for the help.

for someone new to the game, a month is very optimistic. I definitely wouldn't count on it.
