I don't think it will help... heard the same about sugar once. guess it's all placebos when it helps. So try it if you feel the need, just believe in it :tongue:

Never heard anything about milk calming you down dunring a trip. I know that warm milk can be mildly sedating though.

well...
milk does have a fair amount of the amino acid tryptophan as part of its protein, and trp will easily become converted to serotonin, which can act as a calmative (there is also some relationship between trp & niacin)...
and calcium also can have a relaxing effect on jangled nerves and muscles...
so, maybe, a bit...
