and you're a narcissist.
America was founded on the believe that things can change, in order for people to change. that's the concept; and it's a brilliant one. if only people weren't so insanely selfish.

I'm actually a fat narcissist. You know the difference between me and most narcissists? I recognize that I'm a narcissist.

there's a difference between hating a country as a whole and being against a country's government or governmental policies...
i am not "patriotic" in the sense that the term is generally understood these days, because i believe even a relatively benign pride in something as arbitrary as the country you happened to be born in puts you on a slippery slope toward nationalism, jingoism, and chauvinism. even if you think that america was founded on inherently noble values, to think that this extends to any & all actions america takes on the world stage is foolish. i do NOT subscribe to the doctrine of american exceptionalism in the slightest.

people like to think that they are better then what they are, because hello, if you didn't you'd be even more a piece of shit, otherwise. it's called common sense.
people want control, and if they can move their asshole around places, and make somethings move around for a reason to move their asshole around to begin with, of course they'll do that. even if it's inherently useless, or benign.

smarter how? some people are smart and take advantage of other people. how can one be so smart, and yet feel that one has to take advantage of someone else, or some other group?

it's a fact of nature when you can't control your nature.
humans can. we suffer for alot of things, but in reality we are more capable then animals to avoid moving in roves to capitulate our species. it's how humans have spread all across the planet. we've had individual intentions.

Who can? You do know that you are an animal, right? That you will never have the physical ability to do some things that others can and that intelligence is a physical function? Some people are smarter than others. Sometimes by a lot.

We've reached an Impasse. Classical Realism (me) V. Classical Liberalism (you) this argument has been going on for ages.
I don't think humans are above animals, we are in fact primates. I also don't humans are the only species capable of individual thinking.
