With the WBS I didn't consolidate so it took about 7 days before I saw knotting/pins poking through the verm casing. I found that a dusting of verm right across the surface no thicker than an 1/8th inch will cause pinheads within 24hrs if its consolidated.

Thanks man, i'm on day 4 with some bulk subs taht i'm starting to realize i should've let "consolidate" at least another 3 days. I was afraid they'd go bad or something (never done all this before) so i just stuck them into FC when about 90% done. I have some super consolidated PF Cakes i'm about to stick in the bottom of the FC we'll see how this plays out
Thanks for the confidence boost seems like they are never going to come

Yeah that happens to me all the time if I don't consolidate. I case straight WBS and generally don't spawn to coir or anything, and with that way you can case ALOT earlier and get way better, healthy flushes. IMO!
If you really want to see results within the next two days Just try the Wax paper tek. itll pin it whether its ready or not lol

the two are completely interchangeable. I prefer Wax paper since its cheap, easy, and I already had a roll of it. Plus why waste rubbing alcohol cleaning bubble wrap to re-use it?

Great to hear, Yeah They are completely white pins, and they look pretty damn funny. You won't be able to make out the cap till it grows about an inch or so. Good luck!
