Bassfreak said: you really only have to stop filming if he physically makes you stop, cuz usually if ur videotaping it then theres something else going on and your just a bystander
fuck the police, keep filming
Keep that in mind while they're kicking you in the head. Everyone always says they'd do this and that in situations where cops are being assholes, but the reality is that unless you're lucky enough to have witnesses willing to testify on your behalf anything that happens will be your word vs the cops. If the cops arrest you, take your camera away and lie in court about the whole thing, you think by some miracle the judge will take your word against the arresting officers without witnesses? Good luck with that.

Fooman - The cops can take your video camera away, but if you're using Qik or a number of other programs that provide the user with the ability to live-stream content to an internet server it doesn't matter if they confiscate the camera or not. Everything up until the last 1-2 seconds will be recorded with 100% clarity.

Always tape any incident you see happening. Don't ever let a cop bully you into stopping.
If you have to swallow the memory card to save your footage then so be it. When that cop is on youtube and the national news, it's YOU who will get to tell whatever story you want and the courts/judges/politicians will distance themselves from those cops so fast their heads will spin.
If you're not willing to risk a little jail time or a beating to stand up for your freedom and rights then you don't deserve to live in a free country.

There was a decision last spring/early summer in illinois that killed their anti videotape our corrupt cops law. So record away its legal there.
