OK last question for today from the newbie. It comes in 2 parts.

1). Can someone cover the basics of dunking for me or point me to a site that explains the procedure? I've been all over this site and can't find a good explanation. By reading a lot of the posts on the BB, it sounds like it can help fruiting.

2). I am storing my unused spore syringes in the refrigerator, as I won't be starting another batch for a couple weeks (treasure coast next). Is this OK? What is the best way to store syringes?

1) Fully submerge the cake in a container of clean water for 4-12 hours. It's as simple as that. Tap water works fine.

2) Storing syringes in the fridge is the best way. My friend puts them in a zip-lock baggie first.
