I hear that. Still I'll choose agnosticism. Here's my limited reasoning. "God" is defined in many ways so god doesn't just mean a guy up in the sky. Considering how many ways you can define the word there might be a possibility that one of them is correct. Secondly I have to acknowledge that I have a very limited understanding of reality, creation, cosmos, tao, ect. I know so little about what is actually out there it's going to be very difficult to guess about it. I'd rather acknowledge that I just don't have a fucking clue and then I can relax and go about my business. I have nothing much to defend or explain.

Anything else is just semantic hand wringing by athiests who want to have their cake and eat it too without any of the cognitive dissonance of believing unprovable faith based opinions.
If I don't believe in a god, that's not the same as saying I believe there is no god. For me to believe in something, I need evidence. I have not seen any evidence for "god," and therefore I don't believe in it. I don't positively believe that god does not exist either.
If I don't specifically believe in god, then I'm an atheist. I'm an agnostic as well. Why is this so hard to comprehend?

I'm pretty much in full agreement with ol Albert on this one.

In that quote he calls himself a pantheist. Not that this is at all relevant. Einstein made plenty of mistakes as we all do. He is no authority on this topic. I don't even know why you quoted him to begin with. He's not relevant to this debate.
Truly no one is an authority on this topic, so quoting ANYONE is as relevant as the price of tea.
I think he quoted him because his position is logical and well stated. He doesn't believe in any personal god but in a concept that could be called god if one so choose.

Well I think he's wrong on this issue. Not in anything that he believed in particular, but in how he chose his words. I bet that if Einstein knew how much his quotes would be misused, he would never have used the word "god".
Maybe. I have trouble with that word myself and always use it tongue in cheek.

there are intelligent people who believe in God,
Not possible imo if you are talking about any kind of personal god. You can't call yourself intelligent if you aren't logical in my book.

Why not show us these documented cases instead of your constant rumors. Now for the excuses?

Why should you care any more about what people believe than what they dose into their body? Should your idea's and thoughts about things you would have for yourself be automatically imposed on others just because it is what you prefer?
Welcome to the real world.
People are going to do what makes them feel good, or right, regardless if you think it is rational.
Well you might be too young or inexperienced to realize this but religious people often band together to legislate morality and laws for the rest of us. The USA being a really good example.

There is no certainty of the absence of something just because there is an abscence of evidence.
How many times does this have to be explained to you? We are not dealing with absolute certainties but likelihoods backed with the preponderance of the evidence at hand.
