The original metroid prime is really good, but the sequels sucked.

The sequel is great imo, I liked it more than the original

I liked Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door

Wind Waker for sure

Don't think I would play any of these without weed, that's just me:pipesmoke:

Best games hands down:
Army men RTS
Army men Sarges war
F-Zero GX
Fire Emblem
Gun (One of the best 3rd person shooters ever)
The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess (second best Zelda of them all)
Mario Party 7 (great for drunk parties)
Metroid Prime
Paper Mario Thousand year door
Prince of Persia Sands of Time
Resident Evil (2) & (0)
Soulcaliber II (Best fighting game since SF2)
Starwars bounty hunter
Starwars the Clone Wars
X-Men Legends

I have not included all the parts of a given title unless they all equally good. Some worthy titles have been excluded such as Rainbow six, Metal Gear, Call of Duty, etc. This was because while they were excellent games, they did not IMO represent the best of the genre.

While I have nothing against the cube, it was a disappointment comparatively to the innovation of the N64, which was notable due to its ability to compete with a slick and fast rising PS empire. Goldeneye, Forsaken, Legend of Zelda Ocarina of time, and many others still trump games to this day due to their innovation and playability.

Metal Gear Twin Snakes for the game cube is the best ever

It has extra options if you beat it to make the game more challenging unlike the other three metal gears I've played Silicon Knights put time into the game to make sure it was the best version by adding a Sneak Mode. It's even harder to beat if you don't have the original packaging for the game, because you have to find a persons radio frequency that they clue you in on.

That and Resident Evil and RE Zero are probably the best games for the system. Along with Resident Evil 4 if you haven't played 4 then you missed one of the original blockbuster games that came before all these 3rd person shooters you have today.

Don't listen to any of these dipshits, especially the one who suggested Mario sports (sorry). THE VERY BEST GAMES for Gamecube:

Single-player: Resident Evil 4. To this day this game is still amazing, everything about it just rocks. It pioneered the 3rd-person over-the-shoulder viewpoint, choosing and upgrading your guns is lots of fun, hit detection is amazing, the world is really immersive, everything bullshit about the previous RE games has been fixed and it has insane replay value. My only gripe is that it's not as scary as the other Resident Evil games, but in all other ways blows them out of the water. A must-have if you don't already.

Split-Screen: TIMESPLITTERS 2!
Check it out if you haven't already, because this one's a true underdog classic, and cheap! Were you a kid that grew up playing Goldeneye with your friends? This is by the same people and incorporates the best elements of that AND WAY MORE! You can unlock all kinds of characters with different stats (from zombies and robots to gingerbread men and cowboys), customize the weapons available in each round, play different modes of gameplay, loads of bots, a level editor(!), a really fun 2-player-coop capable story mode, different challenge modes and a real charm/sense of humour about itself that you don't see often enough. Even people who don't generally like shooters enjoy this one, and it's the go-to game when I have people up. It's also got some really, really good easter eggs, including a 4-player oldschool "Snake"-style arcade game that's more fun than it ought to be. I could keep going because there's lots to say about this one, but just know that if you're looking for a shooter that's the polar opposite of the market-driven bullshit--a game by people who love games--you NEED this one. If you have more than 1 controller and some friends it's a must-have, and even solo it's good fun!

Eternal Darkness was amazing, on of my favorite cube games. And animal crossing was my childhood. I go listen on youtube to some of the music. AHHh nostalgia. I liked SSX tricky too.
