upon further contemplation i realized i forget to mention the almost pure white gills... that means the spores cant be anything but white?
maybe pink i realize that gills may change color as the mushroom ages but these are huge

I dont really know what those are, they could possibly be some sort of an Amanita, but its hard to tell, but always be cautious of a mushroom with white gills, always! And those arent active what ever they are, dont eat, might wanna ask ToxicMan or GumbyDude or another administrator for a positive ID,Peace!
happy hunting---

The warts on the cap definately yell some sort of amanita to me, but what kind, I cannot tell you. I can tell you, DON'T EAT IT.

That is certianly a odd looking mushroom.

I do not know this species from the top of my head, so you would need to give some more information on it.

Spore print color would help.

From a macroscopic profile, it does resemble an Amanita or even a Russula.

At first glance they look like Amanitas from Section Lepidella. There are a couple things you can check to help verify that.

First, almost the entire mushroom will seem to be covered with a sort of powdery material that rubs or washes off easily. In some species that can take the form of warts similar to the ones on Amanita muscaria (which is not a Lepidella).

Second, most of them have a rooting base. That is, the stem extends into the ground (possibly several inches) like a taproot. To verify that you should carefully dig one up (try to minimize the damage to the environment).

Lepidellas are very difficult to identify to species. Some of them are deadly poisonous. None of them should be eaten. Many of them bruise, and many of them have distinctive odors (which can be unpleasant).

Let us know if you can verify those things. Lepidellas are interesting mushrooms.

Happy mushrooming!

how about this one i found a little while later today mowing the grass about twenty feet away from the mysterious white ones its pretty beaten up but id still like to know what it is
the parasol part is around 3 inches diameter height is around 2.5-3.5 inches its been bruised and it looks green but its really blue
and as for the gills i really have no idea about them its just solid i guess it could be a pore mushroom but again i know nothing about fungi

the new mushroom you've got there is a bolete. don't eat. yes it has pores. alot of people mistake these for psilo's cuz some of them bruise blue. there are even some boletes which bruise blue and have gills (i've found several)

As jimbu mentioned, your new mushroom is a bolete. As a group they have tubes instead of gills (look close with a magnifying glass). To identify it we need to know a few things.

How long does it take for it to turn blue? Cut it in half vertically and watch. We need to know if it takes under 30 seconds or more.

Look closely at the surface of the stem, especially near the top where it joins to the cap. Is there a very fine net like pattern on the surface (in some it's not that fine - it's very conspicuous)? It helps to have the light shining at a low angle to throw any features into relief.

Is the cap surface dry or moist or slimy or sticky?

Those things should get us close. Depending on the answers to those questions you might need to answer a couple more.

Let us know.

Happy mushrooming!

first of all thanks a bunch you guys

second the mushroom was about to "die" when i got it so...
but i went out and cut it as you suggested and it bruised almost immediately so much so that at first i just thought it was blue to begin with i also noticed that it had a hollow part in the stem but not completely hollow it was full of thin brown strands

i couldnt find anything on the top near the stem/cap (it was pretty dried out)

the cap is definately dry at least when i found it and it was neither slimy nor sticky

heres a pic after i cut the mushroom the picture is kinda fuzzy but its the best i could do...

you can kind of see the "hole" i was talking about kinda looks like bug damage being all off center and what not

if you are wondering about the bruise pattern that is because i resliced it so that it would be blue again for the picture
i thought it was interesting that the blue color disapeared after only a few minutes

I think the hollow bit is from insect damage.

That looks like it keys out as Boletus sensibilis, which is poisonous. There are several very similar species, some of which are edible, but they are not recommended for eating because they are easy to mistake for the poisonous ones.

In general, bruising very rapidly like that is a bad sign.
