I cannot stop watching this movie.. I've probably seen it over 20 times.. It has to be one of Tom Hank's best movies, in my opinion.

This has always bothered me, as well. Also, I'm pretty sure she dies of AIDS. So Forrest and/or his son may be HIV positive and not even know it.

I remember watching it in the theater when it came out. At the time I thought it was pretty good, but later on I started to find Tom Hanks pretty annoying in all his movies.
