Is this HEPA filter acceptable? If so, What blower?

Hey folks. I am looking to put together a laminar flow hood and I have this HEPA filter. Is it good enough for our purposes? If so, what kind of blower should I get? Pics:

Yes.
Get a blower which will deliver 500 to 600 cfm @ .6 to 1" W.G. RR

That's a bit more blower than you need, but on it's lowest speed it's about right. You could always use it by blocking off part of the intake to reduce flow if necessary, but you're paying for three higher speeds you won't use. RR

I can't seem to find the perfect blower that will deliver 500 to 600 cfm @ .6 to 1" W.G., but this looks to be close. http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/DAYTON-Blower-1XJX7?BV_UseBVCookie=No&ItemKey=1XJX7&seoUrl=DAYTON-Blower-1XJX7&Pid=search
Is this a better fit or should I just grab the one I posted before and run it on the lowest setting? I kinda like having the different speed settings on the other blower even though I won't use the higher settings, later down the line I could use the blower for a bigger setup.
This blower looks perfect, but damn is it pricey!! http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/FANTECH-Inline-Centrifugal-Duct-Fan-6KVY6?Pid=search

Don't spend $600 on a blower. Either of those others will work, even if you end up needing to block part of the intake or pile up a few prefilters.
You might also check your local heat and air shop. They often have old furnaces out back they've removed from people's houses when they purchased new ones. They'll often give you the blower from one cheap. RR

I use a Dayton fan there like $150 for a 475cfm blower.

that should do
Seems too weak of a blower. "CFM @ 0.600-In. SP 430" Above .6 and it drops off to further unacceptable levels. Also a 230v unit. I need a 115v unit so I can use a regular outlet.

Anyone know anything about Hurricane inline fans? http://www.sunlightsupply.com/p-14296-hurricane-inline-fans.aspx
Damion5050 built a flow hood with one, but I can't find any data regarding their flow under different static pressures. http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/9802948

Take some time and contact your local HVAC shops. I did this and ended up with 2, 4 speed blowers for $25. Just keep calling, some of the ppl will act like you are stupid for asking but you will eventually strike gold.
