looks like a fungal disease. look at the undersides of the leaves. aphid will suck all the juice of the leaves. maybe that.
i'm sure the more intellectual crowd will show up shortly.

It could be fungal, my best guess is that it came from the soil. I learned the hard way last season because I never mulched my beds. My tomatoes caught early blight. You don't want to water the plant and have any soil splash up on the leaves. Next time use mulch after you plant and water directly at the base to avoid getting the leaves wet. Just to be safe. :P
best you can do at this point is keep those leaves dry! If it's blight it will eventually spread to all of the leaves. You don't have to discard the plant though, it may produce, but whatever it does will be very slow.

I'm not sure, but you could try it if the plant just keeps getting worse. mulch around the base of the stem well and clean the stem after you cut it and be sure to throw away or burn that foliage. It's just a guess of what is wrong with it.
Do you remember if the lower leaves were the ones that looked funny first? That's what usually happens with early blight. It starts at the lower leaves closest to the soil and spreads upward by spores and thrives in moisture and bad air flow.

if it's actually blight then the tobacco could be affected. If you have those other plants in potters, make sure you cover the exposed soil with some kind of mulch or sand or something.
