The last one is a picture of Indian Pipes. Thats the olny picture I can ID for sure.. and it's not even Fungi... It's a plant that lacks clorophyl... Here's a link for reading http://www.conservation.state.mo.us/conmag/1995/sep/low.html I hope it shows up as a link,, never did that here before... It's a saphrophite so it appears as fungi,,, I thought it was at first.... The others I cannot ID with any degree of certainty... I found similars... I see some type of amanita, agaricus, hygrocybe, anyway alot of fine fruits for photographic purposes... Don't see anything active... but then again who am I. No_find_um.....Have fungi, fun!!!!!!!

If you're really new to this, then you should check out the FAQ. For example, there's a topic out there for absolute newbees.

Most of those are pretty good photos (good focus). For identification, we generally need to see the underside of the cap more than the top.

Quote:

does anyone see any potential in any of these?

It depends on what "potential" means in that sentence. I wouldn't seriously consider many of those for eating for food. I don't see any that are likely to get you high.

The 4th one down in the leftmost column is an Amanita. Given the overall appearance, it's likely to be poisonous.

The one above it is a Russula. They're mostly impossible to identify without a microscope.

The rest of them I'd want to see a bit more detail before guessing what they are.

Happy mushrooming!

OK, just checked out the rearranged site.

You move two photos down and labelled them as Indian Pipes. The one on the right isn't, though. It's a coral fungus. Unfortunately, the coral fungi are very tough to identify - you need chemical reagents and a microscope for most of them.

The one at the top left looks like one of the small, white Clitocybe's. but we'd need to see more details to ID it with certainty.

For future reference, if you want an ID on a mushroom, you need to pick it and bring it home. That way you can answer questions you didn't know you'd have when you found it. Also, make notes about where you found it. What was it growing on? What kinds of trees were nearby?

Happy mushrooming!
