The Ringing Moon

Has anyone ever heard that when the moon was landed up it rang like a bell? Do you think that the moon was a peice of earth at one time or is it really artificial? (it rang like it was hollow) Ever notice how when the moon lines up with the sun it blocks it all except for the corona, hence a full solar eclipse. It is an astonishing perfect fit, unnatural almost. Also, the moon has a near perfect orbit. Maybe god set it there himself, or it was parked. I sure as hell dont believe it was a chunk of earth though, because it rang and it fits too perfect with far too perfect of an orbit. This would be a mathematical marvel if the moon used to be a peice of the earth.
So, am I crazy or what. Shit I'm crazy even if you think I'm sane.

There is no atmosphere on the moon. Therefore no sound could be heard on the moon. Where did you come up with this stuff? In outer space...................No one can hear you SCREAM!!! Wahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!

There is still impact, and there is still vibration. your voice doesnt have as much vibration as say, metal on metal impacting? Let me try and find the book... If I dont find it u can go ahead and disregard it but I still read it (not necisarrily making conclusions on it.) It was just an interesting peice of information to feed my mind and process.

I've heard that the moon was made of green cheese too, but that doesn't mean that I believe it.
And you -could- hear it, if it -was- ringing, if you were in contact with it at the time. That does not, however, make this thread any less stupid.

The moon was formed about 3.25 billion years ago. A huge asteroid impacted earth and sent shards of rubble hurrling into space. The moon, a piece of the impact rubble, was caught up in the Earth's gravity and began to orbit as a satilite. Other smaller pieces of rubble, on the same orbit as the mood, collided with it making the moon what it is today. Or that's how the current theory goes. I highly doubt the moon is hollow.

Our current theory has such a slim chance. If anyone here has ever done any kind of remotely complicated math they would know that when a rock hits another rock, the chances of it orbiting around the bigger rock PERFECTLY are practically impossible. I dont buy it, but hey I dont have any solid theory myself, I just like to consider new ideas instead of believing what everyone else has been told to believe.

yeah the orbit of the moon is crazy. I actually don't like the idea it's moving away from us
-------------------- Annnnnnd I had a light saber and my friend was there and I said "you look like an indian" and he said "you look like satan" and he found a stick and a rock and he named the rock ooga booga and he named the stick Stick and we both thought that was pretty funny. We got eaten alive by mosquitos but didn't notice til the next day. I stepped on some glass while wading in the swamp and cut my foot open, didn't bother me til the next day either....yeah it was a good time, ended the night by buying some liquor for minors and drinking nips and going to he diner and eating chicken fingers, and then I went home and went to bed.

We could fix that with a few high-yield nuclear devices on the opposite side. We could even detonate the nukes beneath the surface and have our very own orbiting asteroid belt!

The fact that the moong orbit is SO perfect should be more amazing than it moving away. Hey, the aliens on the other side are pulling at it!
