Could it possibly be ...........SATAN ?
Kinda sounds like cob web .
Try , try again , and work on that cleanliness while prepping tek .
I could be wrong , but...................
Give then some more time , but keep issolated from any new jars in the process .

I've heard something about using H2O2 or salt to help rid cobweb. Not sure how its done but I'll bet someone else within the Shroomery can tell ya!

Is it greyish looking or solid pure white?

What you are seeing could be rhyzomorphic mycelium growth. Some mycelium grows all fuzzie and better mycelium grows ropey.

Post a pic if you can.

If it is greyish in color then it is probably cobweb in which case your jars are pretty much toast.

Are the strands of whatever whispy or thick?

whispy (real thin) means cobweb

if it is cobweb it will let you know vary soon .
if it starts to stink, or turn green, dump it .

Some strains have myc that looks rather different from other strains' myc.  Creepers, for example, get -very- strong rhizomorphic growth right off the bat.  Other stuff kinda looks like cobweb until it gets crankin'.

I'd say let it go until you're sure.

Check tomorrow, if it looks MUCH bigger, it's cobweb, if it seems to have grown a little, it's mycelium.
