Loc: gone with my shrooms
Thursday Afternnon July 31, Copelandia at Buffalo Arena
    #1765581 - 07/31/03 11:39 AM (13 years, 4 months ago)

Well after the success of this early morning cubie hunt and four specimens of probabaly P. samuiensis, I went back out and found four more specimens and have determined through macroscopic id that they are indeed P. samuiensis.

Walked two hours in a swampy rice paddie area of ban Thurian where I earlier found the giant cubes I posted.

Found four morwe single specimens. Eaither they all came up last week and disappeaered or they are getting ready to fruit at that location.

The last one I wil;l post int he new species post since they are my shroom.

ANyway, on another note I stopped by one of the several Buffalo arenas and to my surprise the very area where I hve been collecting all week is still producing fromt he same manure heaps .

Today i picked more than 115 specimesn of various sizes.

HEre are three iamges of this afternoons cope adventure.

Also have some great Pink baby buffalo and mother images for later.

and two lone specimnes hiding inthe plants surrounding a coconut tree.

Was surised the image was opkay. had to delte another 400 images this after noon. The camera is driving me nuts. Cannot see screen in 110 degrees odf sunlight.

ANd the 115 specimens in a small plastic container. Having a hard time finding paper bags for collecting. Plastic is not good for cubes or copes or even for P. samuiensis.

And one Pink Bufflao image fromthe same field as the giant cube and P. samuiensis images.

Have a shroomy day,

mj

Hey there,

Well, I will have to say you are on the job...heheh! When you set out to do shrooms, you do shrooms! Do you think they know you are coming?

Those second and third pictures are just excellent, MJ.

Best regards,

King Bolete  :mushroom2:
