Boletus chrysenteron & weird one

Hey,
I took a walk back through the park yesterday, i didnt take my camera with me but i grabbed a few choice mushrooms and got some pics back at home.

I'm pretty sure that the first of the two is Boletus chrysenteron:





but this is a bigger specimen i think, but covered in mycelium. or possibly a type of mold. i couldnt be sure. i cut it open for those who'd like a look inside, pretty interesting.





anyway, just though i'd share this random hunt.

that is a parasitic fungus growing on another Bolete.

That first one looks like Boletus chrysenteron to me, too. Nice specimen.

I think concretefeet is right about the mold. It's probably the asexual stage of either Hypomyces chlorinigenus or Hypomyces chrysospermus. Unfortunately, they're tough to tell apart at that stage - it's much easier when they mature to the sexual stage.
