 Outside fruiting chamber?

I've got major issues with heat right now, and I keep getting overheating, bruising and bacterial growth. Can I put a fruiting chamber outside? in a secluded spot? Is there any terrarium/tote/type tub I can grow outdoors? Anyone tried this?
I don't want to go the outdoors patch route, as my kids get too interested in what I'm doing.... last time was a disaster.
edit: I suggested a SFGC originally to make a point, but I;m looking for solutions...

an sgfc operates through a gentle current of air moving from under the tote through the perlite. if you put it outside or run a fan near it, it will not be properly humidified.

Is pretty much how I understood it also... But is there an option? or is it faux pas?
The humidity here is already 70-80 most days, and hitting 98-99 rainy days (which is pretty often). My concern is bacteria/ molds.

in your garage perhaps? if it is any cooler in there. otherwise, air conditioning is how i keep my heat in check.

I don't use aircon. Because of the molds and stuff, and I have kids. You can tell the kids who live in aircon here, because they're always sick.
anyone tried any sort of mono setup outdoors? I'm thinking a similar type of holes setup, but quite a few more, filled with cotton or polyester... like a filter lid... but on the tub sides and lid.

so you think an outdoor patch is too risky but you are happy to put a plastic tub outside with (presumably) cubensis in it?
youre making psychedelics but are worried about mold in air conditioning?
objections aside...
no, what you are suggesting will not work well for cakes.

I'm not talking cakes, I mean trays on perlite, or mono, in a tub... Cakes go fine in pop bottles in the window here, with no worries.
Mold is a serious problem here, it can weaken and/or kill you. Until you've lived in the wet tropics don't pretend you know. The ultra high humidity colonizes molds in the aircon, directly from the rain forest that is on my back door, and surrounding this area. It's not the city.
Also, you can pick up a tub and move it, not a patch, AND, the ground is too wet where I want to put the tub. This is my reasoning.

perlite only works in sgfcs due to the convection current.
a mono will not suffice unless you construct it properly IME.
i dont know how well a properly spawned mono would work outside. i think it would need to be misted a lot.

Hi, sorry to hijack the thread, but what convection are we talking about here?
We have holes on all sides of the box. The box is filled with around 4-6 inches of moist perlite. This moist perlite covers the bottom holes, and the side holes half way through. What size of perlite are we using here? Big chunks which leaves a prominent air gap between each perlite piece, or pearlite particles of 2-3 mm?

Some workarounds for kids:
1. Do your hobbie work while they sleep.
2. "Those darn poisonous mushrooms......guess I'll just have to pick them so you kids/dog don't accidently eat them".
3. If they are old enough and have the knowledge enough to know what they are, just be up front with them. I have learned that parents who lie to their teenagers usually end up with young adults who lie (to an extent).
Etc., etc.

no local cows here, but yeah I hear you 
been down the pub thinking about this... there's a good chance I can just fruit in trays or pots outside. The only issue being contams?!?!? How will my artificial subs hold up in the real world? This is why I was thinking tubs see.

He enjoys walking around the forest finding shrooms with me too, passing me stuff when I'm doing lab work, it's kind of a shared hobby... but the actives are an issue that I need to conceal better.

Contams are worse inside from what I hear.
FAE and all that keeps them down. I hear people throwing their contaminated cakes outside to produce when inside they would have just been eaten up by the molds.

Don't let them see you growing them. Hence the working on your hobbie while they sleep. That way you can just shrug and say...."don't know".
