have you ever had a dream and all the sudden (arent awake, but know your dreaming) so you make things happen and do whatever you want? i've only had one of those dreams. makes me wonder if there are possiblilities beyond dreaming to do that maybe when you trip hard...

but, when I go lucid, I usually end up fucking all the girls I can....which makes me think...maybe I wasnt truly conscious,
practice practice practice! give me 6 months and I'll be able to walk through walls.

lol. when I get lucid I usually just fly around and start tripping at will. I do all my fucking in my non-lucid dreams so yeah, maybe you're not entirely conscious when you do that. or maybe you're just super-conscious and you REALLY realize what needs to be done

when i go lucid I am always too freakin amazed that I am totally self-aware inside a dream. im too overwhelmed to do shit except walk around and stare at things and contemplate objects and shit.. my lucidity still doesn't last that long.. oh well, im slowly getting more control over myself.

it takes practice and MAJOR DEDICATION.
being focused, and integrating dream-thought into your daily life will assist in integrating waking-thought into your nightly dreams.. the more you think about the dreamscape and its properties while you're awake, the more opportunities you will see arising in your dreams where you can 'wake up and take charge.'

last night i told myself (before i went to sleep) i was gonna try. I ALWAYS FORGET in my sleep. it's really hard to do. i think it's gotta be like, if you have to go to the bathroom or something and you have to get up. then, you have to take the concious part of you and hold it before you actually get up and use it to navigate through your dream. i'll try again tommaro. i'll drink a bunch of water before i go to bed. (i'll probably forget though) damn it

If you ever look at your hands opened while dreaming you'll be in control of your dreams and they become lucid. I used to do this more often when i remember living through my dreams, if you smoke too much weed it's harder to remember, at least it is to me and i've been smoking a lot lately. Another technique i've tried is before falling to sleep, thinking about going down a well using a rope, going down and down until you sleep. When you are asleep and look at the rope, you'll be in contact with something idealized before sleeping and go lucid dreaming.

wouldn't that work only if you skip the delta sleep and go straight to rem sleep? like when you get up to take a piss and go back to bed and resume the dream you were having... I find that that's the best time to have a lucid dream because you go straight to rem and you don't have to "re-awaken" inside your dream. you can almost just carry your consciousness into your dreams.

I find afternoon naps seem to be alot easier times to go lucid...
also, I've found that telling yourself to go lucid before you go to bed doesn't work very well... sort of like reading your notes for a test over and over again but they don't really sink in. You really want to pass the test but your not prepared to dedicate your whole brain to the studying process. does that make sense?
man i've been playing Quake 1 way too much, last night that's ALL i dreamt about... jeesh... so i think that was my cue to seriously cut down on playing it. IT'S CONSUMED MY SUBCONSCIOUS MIND!!! AGGHHHH!! GET THE QUAD!!!!

Lucid dreams are great and all, but if you are still conscious when you go to sleep.. welcome to the world of astral projection. When you go to sleep, your astral body becomes basically disconnected, right above your body, and it creates dreams while your body recharges.. however, if you are still conscious when it disconnects, you can try to get it all the way out of your body, and can go anywhere, do anything... and it will all be as if it is happening in real life. Your body still recharges, and you get to keep conscious the whole time. You can keep learning, see things you normally can't do, etc. I find this more useful than dreams.. my dreams are so fucked up anyways. (I've had dreams where I am on a couch, trying to stay awake, and I keep waking up and going to sleep, off and on... all while I am actually asleep. all sorts of crazy shit like that happens. last night, i dreamt that the neighbor dog was named St. Anger, and it had this collar that played St. Anger, the new Metallica song....see what i mean?) I haven't actually escaped yet, but the last time I tried (last night was way too fucked up to be able to try, so much shit happened right before i went to bed, couldn't get it out of my head), I believe I was still conscious when the astral form disconnected from my body, like what happens when everyone goes to sleep. I had minutes of that falling, spinning motion, and my legs and arms felt like they had no feeling. Also, it felt like my head was at a really weird angle, when I hadn't moved it at all. I just never did anything to try to "float" away. I'm going to try this again in a little bit.. I'll get back on and tell what happened. Peace.

I lucid dream often and can go out of body from lucid dreams, its much easier that way since its already an altered higher state of conciousness.
My trick to becoming lucid is mainly to ask myself if im dreaming (while awake) if I'm doing anyhting not normal or out of my routine. That seeped into my subconcious so I do that often in dreams, and go from there.

what I was saying is that its not going to happen "tonight."
Its going to happen throughout the next few years - its like I said; this takes major dedication and focus in your daily life..
It can take years to integrate dreams with reality and vice-versa
