What's the verdict on store bought horse manure?

Is it as good as horse dung you find in barns?

If not, will I be able to get a big cardboard box, put as much horse dung I can find in it(both dry and fresh dung), and leave it outside for about a month before I use it?

Shall I add any organic material to it to make a sort of compost, if so, what should i add to it?

Dung should be free ......it is a waste product!!
No there should be little difference , just make sure no fungicides were added , some gardners are concerned with fungus growing in their gardens and some companies add in fungicides to aid in such concerns .

works great, so does compost so does compost/poo? Super cheap.
