Help ID this strange mushroom found...in my house

Can anyone help ID this mushroom? Unfortunately, found inside my apartment growing out of a dark corner under a counter between the floor and wall.
It seems to be fast growing since it wasn't there a week ago. We went away on vacation, got back tonight and found it.
Habitat: Found inside my apartment in Los Angeles, California. Growing in a crack between my (wood) floor and wall.
Gills: Can't make out if it has gills. I've been hesitant to touch it.
Stem: Short, white stem.
Cap: Cap is conical. Gray color with white wart-like dots.
Spore print color: Bruising: I've been hesitant to touch it, so I haven't tried to see if it bruises nor its spore print color.

Hard to say, but it looks like coprinopsis atramentaria from here.

I'd second some type of coprinoid. Mosh, you have a serious moisture problem…

leaks or drainage problems inside the wall or under the floor... nice mushroom but seriously tell your landlord or get your house checked because some types of molds and fungus can be dangerous to people-- like black mold spores etc..

Good thing its a mushroom and not mold! get some blowers on that wall! you definately dont want it getting worse. Do you know where the water came from?
I agree with some kind of coprinoid

Wow that's definitely indicative of a coprinus but there must be some major heat and water issues behind your walls if you have enough mycelium to fruit that.

Thanks, guys!
Yeah, I'm pretty grossed out knowing that it's growing right now in the other room. Going to report it to the landlord first thing tomorrow morning.

Sorry i still have work on my brain.
yes its a big fan.
Our sister company does a lot of restoration work and when it comes to water damage they set up "air movers" & "dehumidifiers" then remove and replace damaged drywall.
Until you asked I didnt realize most people dont just have those laying around
Also, this is the fist Non Peziza mushroom ive ever seen growing in Home / car etc...

Really? I recently noticed one of my bathrooms was starting to get mold All over the place, só I checked on the internet and read thet tea tree oil can be good in killing it. I sprayed it a couple of days ago with water diluted tea tree oil and I should be checking it now. I hope it works as well as they say

i bleached a friends walls.. killed it for a week, then i came back stronger. Likely its not just on the surface. so spraying it wont help. I believe it is illegal to be rented an apartment or house that has mold, you should talk to you landlord. If its your house i recommend replacing the wall before it gets worse. This is all circumstantial, just assess is the least i ask you do

Thanks for all the help, guys. The landlord's office doesn't open for another hour or so, but in case you guys were curious, here's how much the mushroom grew overnight.

It is beautiful and quite decorative, yet in the entirely wrong place. Like said above - this is a very bad symptom, and the whole apartment could possibly be uninhabitable. And one doesn't get away with removing or killing the fungus, but by removing its habitat entirely.
Be on guard cause if the landlord is an arse he/she might just try to blame the damage on the tenants. To be on the safe side, you should probably get independent expertise to take a look at this.
