As a libertarian, I guess that would put me on the right. However, I distrust corporations, hate Bush, and am very concerned about the environment, so I don't think I'm very far to the right.

Clearly you don't know a thing about real communism. in its final stage, there is no government. that is why Marx always said that the State was nothing more than a tool of the bourgeousie.

I lean more toward Anarchism than any of the political wings, although if I had to choose I would pick libertarianism, because I like the idea of smaller government; less of the jackbooted thugs in our business and personal affairs.
The government should uphold and protect freedom from serious threats such as terrorism (I won't discuss how the government severly mismanaged handling this threat); not drug use or distribution. We don't need Big Brother looking over our shoulders; admonishing us on our life styles.
Cognitive liberty is the last frontier of true freedom. What you think and how you feel are the only true freedoms you have.
Your cognitive rights are being violated by the drug war. Right now it's the only way the government can invade your consciousness; by trying to keep you from altering it if you choose.
They can't invade your deepest thoughts, but technology will soon make this possible; not to mention that it is already being used to try to brainwash you (Television) into loading up on government sanctioned drugs such as Prozac and the like...
This is why I feel like I am more closely affiliated with Anarchism than any of the so called political wings! We aren't given much of a choice in this country; liberal left (D) or conservative right (R). All the other parties have no chance of truly making it into positions with any real leverage.
Libertarianism is not really a right wing faction, that's a little bit too much of a generalization for that party...
End rant!
