Growing in a shared home
    #17622025 - 01/28/13 01:57 AM (11 years, 3 months ago)

I started a mushroom grow over a month ago and meant to have no one find out. Unfortunately one person found out, and then a lot of people found out. I live in a room that can be locked, and that is what I do when I am not there, or a party is going on.

I kept the grow going but now I am seriously paranoid, especially since there have been several parties at the house I am living in and there is an angry neighbor across the street. I have twelve jars that are all nearing 100% colonization.

At this point I feel like I just need to get rid of the grow, but the time and energy i've put into it already make that hard, even though I know its the safe and smart thing to do.

-Would it be too dangerous to put the jars in a dark drawer and let them fruit invitro? I know that sounds ridiculous but I really just want to get one journey out of these babies especially considering that I might not be in a position to grow again for a number of years.

-Should I just crumble everything and dispose of it to be safe?

When in doubt, throw it out. You can always start again.

Way better than getting busted with stuff growing, imo.

You should throw it away or give it to a trusted friend.  You don't live in the kind of place that is good for growing.  The risk to reward ratio isn't right.

Get the fuck rid of it.

Hell, plant them in the garden under 1/4" of peat moss and keep an eye on the area for the next 6 months and you might get lucky.

You might not be in a position to do anything for a number of years if you get exposed.

It's a very serious risk you're running, don't underestimate it because you want to get high.
