I'm sure there's a few guitarists out there, so I thought I'd pass along what I think is a pretty good site - www.wholenote.com Probably most helpful to beginner to intermediate level players, but there's a shitload of lessons, and I'm sure even an accomplished player can find some worthwhile stuff here.

Cool, I hope it helps...I played bass guitar for a long time myself, but this yerar I bought an acoustic (got a good deal off of www.123music.com, a Takemine that plays pretty well, but has a few bad spots I must admit, for $300 along with a good case) and have been working on that a bit. There's some good tablature sites out there too, which makes learning songs alot easier than the old days before the internet. I still have my old Rickenbacker that I bought in 1980; I loved Chris Squire's playing with Yes, which was influential in my decision to get a Rick. Ever hear Jamaladeen Tacuma? He's a funk/jazz player, really good, and Tony Levin does some great playing with King Crimson; he and Bruford make a hell of a rythem section.

Yeah, I wish I remembered how t read sheet music, but tabs are so easy to read, so it makes me too lazy to remember.

Yeah, if I was alone on a desert island for a year I'd teach myself to read well, but tabs are a lot easier for the time constricted. rommstein2001, that's fuckin' amazing, that Hillary quote...sometimes i think politicians are actuallly just in it for themselves.
