For real. Lindemans Framboise is even more berrylicious but also much sweeter:
But it's an import from Belgium and cost even more

That is weird, must be a special kind. Most is in the 5-8% range I believe: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lambic
It's pretty much an ale from wild yeasts in a specific part of Belgium, but they make all kinds like raspberry, apple, pear, cherry. Apparently some like the cherry actually take finished lambic and re ferment it with the cherries
Damn:
Quote:
Lambic with the addition of raspberry (framboise), peach (pêche), blackcurrant (cassis), grape (druif), or strawberry (aardbei), as either whole fruit or syrup. Other, rarer fruit lambic flavorings include apple (pomme), banana (banane), pineapple (ananas), apricot (abricot), plum (prune), cloudberry (plaquebière), lemon (citron), and blueberry (myrtille). Fruit lambics are usually bottled with secondary fermentation.
I really need to go to Belgium and try them all

Old Charter 8. This is one of the older bottles that is aged 8 years. This isn't a bad whiskey. Its really smooth, but the flavor profile is just ok.

I had to give up drinking and everything else for a while.... but weed is like legal now so there's always that...
Been enjoying a bunch of really classy wine lately. 2012 vintage, Cabernet Sauvignon and other assorted snobby bullshit.

Trav, buddy! I miss you man.
I just started coming around here again last month after taking about a year away from the community. I haven't gotten drunk now in almost 2 years. There was a glass of mead or wine thrown in a few times...But I'm giving myself until at least New Year's to give social, moderate drinking yet another shot in this life. If that even is possible for me.
I sure as hell miss my caipirinhas.
If you could, shoot me a or a friend request on FB (I had to make a new account last year.)
Take care. Much love. Give thanks. Bless up.

got to drunk the other day and jumped off a bridge into the lagoon and got all fucked up... this isnt the first time alcohol has led to my personal depletion of my health. good thing southern california has no shortage of breweries, bars, beaches, and high spots to jump into water from.

Drinking a few shots of 1783 Bourbon tonight. This is pretty nice whiskey. Probably my favorite these days. Cheers to the Shroomery!

On a budget this month. Have to see the dentist in a few hours. Chugging a Budweiser, the king of beers, yeah, no. Budget beer. Fuck I hate this but beer makes it go by faster. It is like that Rick and Morty bit where the sun comes up and is just yelling constantly in that dimension.
But, god may I stay sober enough to sing this night and dance. I love Rogue Ale, I have a box that I use for my PS4 stand. They were having a sale at a 7-11 in Seattle where all beer six packs were 5 bucks. Holy shit did I enjoy it.
This fucking day. Chugging Bud, blah! Take care of your teeth kiddies! Believe it is worth it over time.

Aww. I miss this thread. I just went through the first 10 pages or so from 6 years back. And holy shit! I was a complete derelict.
It's so weird reading my posts and seeing myself progressively getting more dependent on alcohol. Eventually to a point that disgusts me. But I'll cherish this thread forever. It was such a pivotal point when my life when I finally quit. And to have it all documented is rather nice.
Excuse my tangent, guys.
Hope you all have a great evening.
