Reality VS Superstitions

So what is everyone's view of this? I believe in things like Faeries and Jinns, but then some say oh no, that's being superstitious. I have no doubt that Witchcraft is real. It has been practiced for eons in so many ways.
So what is superstition? Things like Lilith and Krampus?
What is reality?

I want to believe that reality is more complex that base materialists give it credit for, but I think literally believing in the things you mention is dumb... sorry. I need much more subtle woo to get me going.

I believe in things like Faeries and Jinns, but then some say oh no, that's being superstitious.
Skeptics don't say no. They say "show me". So far, every single one has been a liar, a self-deluded moron, or completely clueless. Can you demonstrate any of these things you believe exist?
Tell you what: if you can demonstrate ANY of these things you believe exist, you can easily win a million bucks. In fact, I will buy you an airline ticket to Fort Lauderdale for the formal test, I will put you up in the best South Beach hotel with an ocean view, I will pay all your meals, and I will drive you around as long as you're here if you can demonstrate what say exists. On my word. For reference, the test is whatever you say it is. The JREF doesn't design the test. You design the test. All JREF does is make sure you don't cheat.
So... do you want to be a millionaire? Or is this thread just more hot air of the type I've been breathing in this forum for 10 years?
Note to audience: with an easy million bucks on the table, a free Florida vacation and absolutely NOTHING to lose, he will not even send in an application.
What does this tell us?
-------------------- Republican Values: 1) You can't get married to your spouse who is the same sex as you. 2) You can't have an abortion no matter how much you don't want a child. 3) You can't have a certain plant in your possession or you'll get locked up with a rapist and a murderer. 4) We need a smaller, less-intrusive government.

The reason I say Jinns and Faeries exist is because they can manifest in dreams and in plain sight as a mist or a shadow. These spirits are also linked to sleep paralysis which is a paralyzing state via a supernatural cause

Nope. You're deluding yourself. Sleep paralysis is a well understood neurological phenomenon. It's been captured many times on EEG. It can even be induced medically at a whim very simply by a doctor.
As for the rest, you're basically saying that they exist but they cannot be demonstrated in any way whatsoever. How conveeeeenient.

More Proof: A سØر or Sihir conjuring Jinns. Sihir is an Arabian Sorcerer. They predate Islam, but now that Islam is in place, it is a death sentence to be caught doing Sihir
A Ring with Jinn inside. Note the metal is Copper a metal that is commonly used to Bind spirits. Pyrite is also another popular metal. Most Sihir use crystals that can be crafted into a pendant or ring. The ring is ugly and not fashionable.

If Witchcraft and Sorcery is BS then explain why it's been around since the Sumerians. It is in fact the oldest practice. I don't call it a religion because most Witches/Sorcerers do not worship gods. Explain how curses work. Do you think that a simple Human can unleash a nasty curse? No... Magick is all done indirectly via evocation and invocation of Spirits. Some spirits are Jinns, Naga/Nagini etc. Sihir can send Jinns to possess people and destroy them.

Why don't you explain why nobody can demonstrate to the JREF?

Because it's a bogus organization just like ACORN that was shut down because it was so corrupt

Because he's not talking about things that are meant to be understood or prooven within the realm of modern science. He's talking about experiences and things that are similar to things experienced while tripping on shrooms in the sense that they can't be proven scientifically but the reality is that they still undeniably happen to you anyway.

Because it's a bogus organization
That's complete bullshit, but if you really believe that, how about one of these:
The Premanand Challenge: http://www.indian-skeptic.org/html/rules.htm
The Australian Skeptics Challenge: http://www.skeptics.com.au/features/challenge.htm
The Science and Rationalists' Challenge: http://humanists.net/avijit/prabir/sra.htm
There are many others. I will make the same offer. If you can do the bullshit you say you can do, I'll pay your travel expenses and you will become rich.
Note to audience: now we will hear a zillion reasons for why he can't do what he says he can do. And none of this will even slightly phase his absolute certainty even though he can't be bothered to demonstrate it and become a rich man.

That's not what he said. He says he won't demonstrate for the JREF and win a million bucks because it's a "bogus organization". So I gave him three others. My guess is talk is cheap and easy. Actually doing the bullshit you talk about is impossible even when there are a million bucks up for you to win.
This is nothing new. Someone here spews this same bullshit every few days, then backs down when someone asks for a simple demonstration even with a free Florida vacation thrown in. This has been going on for the 10 years I've been here.
