I would open/close the door extremely slowly then allow air to settle for 5+ minutes. Or just use a still air box.

yeah, use a still air box. SO much less complicated.
if not, then sit IN the room for 5 or 10 minutes while everything settles. then move slowly.

I have never used oust/lysol or anything like that.

1. Shut off your AC.
2. If you spray anything, just spray water...don't waste your money on lysol.
3. Let the air settle for ten minutes.
4. If you have a Still Air Box, use it. If it not then just get crackin'.

Well said Tooty. Few people are aware of how effectively plain water filters air.
It is a heavy droplet and molecule. It will grab spores/dust and drag them straight down.
Out of your air.

Why didn't I think of that? It's the same principle as a diffusion pump. I'll add that to my routine now.

Thiot, as a tip I'll tell you that adding certain detergents, salts and pH adjustments can greatly affect the surface tension of h20. Therefore greatly multiplying its filtering ability.
Just Google a recipe for decreasing surface tension on water. You want less tension not more.

get a glove box man they arent that expensive or hard to build. worst part is cutting the armholes which can be done easily with a soldering iron or drimil tool/ drill with cutting bit. also tmethyl your pics freak me out lol

If the bin you're using for a still air box is made from PVC (recycling code 3) you REALLY don't want to use a soldering iron or other heat source for cutting the arm holes because chlorine gas could be produced.

You can easily use a fine mist of bleach+water to "sanitize" the air.
Do this right after you shut off your AC/heat & then go shower & do it again when you enter to do your clean work.
Here's my exact procedure:

1. Turn off the Air/Heat in your Place.
2. Enter Clean room & break up spawn jar on a stack of phonebooks or bike tire.
3. Oust Entire Room Well.
4. Take a shower, brush teeth & use mouthwash.
5. Put on freshly laundered clothing, glove hands & put on surgical mask.
6. Enter Clean Room with the Receiving Jars
  - Get everything organized
7. Oust Room Well, again.

**NOTE The instructions may seem a little screwy, but I just C&Ped it to this thread from my original thread.
