"WARNING! The last post in this topic is more than 30 days old! (exactly 160 days) Please only post a reply if it is truly relevant!!"
Funny that i get that message for a topic that's near the top of this subforum's first page!
Anyway since i, along with the majority of the shroomery i'm guessing, do'nt have all of the types you mention i'm going to assume this is a hypothetic. So if i were to possess one each of these types, i would choose:
Rifle: Some sort of English flintlock musket from one of the fine London gunmakers around the turn of the 19th century. Some of these are really beautiful without being too ornate.
Pistol: I'm fine with the uberti 1860 colt army repro i have. I love the open top colts. The dragoons and walkers pack a heftier punch but they're just massive. It is still comparable to a modern .45 with 30+ grain, is comfortable, and has some sexy lines. Love my smokewagon.
Conceal: I'd choose an uberti repro of the 1849 pocket. I like the baby dragoon too, but they do'nt have a loading lever. They're weak, but if needed i'm sure it would be able to alter a situation for the better. I can see myself having one of these sometime soon.
As you can tell, i'm a fan of the "darkside".

Rifle: This is between the AK-47, M-16 and the Remington 700. It would really depend on the environment and range I was fighting at. Personally and in all honesty, I'm not a trained sniper so I would not be able to use the Remington for all it's potential. The M-16 would not suit this environment because of the weight of the 5.56 round and I would not have access to any decent 7.62 round. If you eliminate all those problems the I guess I'd go with the M-16 for its versatility and customization options. I could even change calibers by changing uppers and barrels so I guess the M-16 would win regardless. Versatility always wins in my book.
Shotgun: Between the Mossberg pump and a Benelli semi auto. That's really just an outright toss up. I'd carry either so long as its a 12 gauge, preferably slugs.
Pistols: This is between the Colt 1911, the Glock 19 and a smith&wesson j frame revolver. The colt would be perhaps but my favorite combat pistol. I can't help but love a 1911, they feel like love. However the Glock obviously holds more rounds although in a smaller caliber, it remains more durable and safer to operate. The j frame is just a conceal carry gun for the obvious day out in town, not a battle gun however with precaution the glock can be a battle or carry gun. So in the end versatility wins again and I guess I'd go with the glock19.
-------------------- ...also, go to hell, huh?
