I say go with Lipa Yai, even though I have never tried it , I have tried Koh Saumi which is close, and Lipa Yai sounds just as good as KS but better!! 6flushes sometimes !WHOA

and both these are resistent to contams, I had more trouble with Tapalpa , although I am taking another stab at that, both these strains get a+ all around even though I havent grown one of them , KS is great but go with Lipa Yai and see what you think

why ask people to email the answer???????
this is a forum q and a is what its for(other then some stupid posts about crap or cool insight, politics, ART!)

Yep, best to grow is Psilocybe cubensis. Now if you're asking what strain of cube is best to grow, that's a totally different question.

There is much debate of what strain actually packs the best punch, i.e. visuals, body buzz, etc. Through my past experience, I have found that it's not actually the strain you need to concern yourself with, but the method you use to grow your mushrooms. The main difference between strains is how they actually grow and fruit morpholgy. Some strains colonize faster then others, some fruit faster, some produce bigger fruits . . .

If you're a beginer, I would suggest reserching strains of cube that are quick colonizers.

Best species? Psilocybe cubenesis. Best strain? I dunno. SWIM found that creepers were very easy to grow and strong colonizers, with decent sized fruits, but doesn't have data to quantify their psychedelic properties.
