Usually when people check for warrants they call a lawyer or go to the police station in person.
I am not sure that I would trust any sites to have the correct information. They often have old information and could easily miss something.
Personally I'd just go to the cop shop and ask. Bring bail money.

The eHow entry for how to look up Federal warrants is here.
As far as state to state extraditions go, I believe the financial and transport burden is on the state you're wanted in, and have heard there are several things that factor into state level extraditions. Things like if it's a violent crime or high level felony, or if the sheriff in the county the warrant is issued in is a piece of shit, and basically whether your worth the money to transport back and incarcerate.
I've heard Joe Arpaio out of Phoenix would extradite your ass off the moon for a parking ticket, especially if you are Hispanic.

That is sarcastic, right? Unless one has no friends...send a friend to the cop shop. Why bring bail money? It'll just be impounded at worst, but won't make bail unless you happen to be more wealthy than most on this forum. Just send a friend to ask a friendly question.
...Unless they also have a warrant out for them...damned multi-level marketing.
