I didnt have 3 dinners, that was dinner three days in a row... you guys must not eat everyday or maybe I'm just the one keeping this thread from certain damnation?
So I adjusted the mushroom puff recipe, bacon chanterelle caramelized onion parm + mozz
the idea was to slice the puff on it's axis and serve each slice with a drizzle of cheese fondue sauce (white wine and cheese) but the recipe for fondue cheese sauce I have sucks and it all curddled to hell.... so no fucking cheese fucking fondue fucking sauce this time

Pork roast is finally done! whole house smells of pig, but it was worth it. If there was a bone this meat would fall right off of it. I literally just touched it with a fork and pieces started flaking off guys! its cooling now bout to shred it with some sweet baby rays, brown sugar, rainforest honey and a touch of root beer. Best Pulled pork in town right in my kitchen.

Tonight at work I made myself a pepperoni calzone. It was just as good as I had hoped it would be. For lunch yesterday I made myself chicken vegetable and dumpling soup.

Made Potato tacos tonight.
Heres the recipe for anyone who wants to try it.
Quote:
Tacos de Papa (Potato Tacos)
You will need: Potatos Corn tortillas cooking oil ground beef milk butter
1. Boil potatoes for about 35-45 minutes, skin and make into mashed potatoes. (adding half a cup to a cup of milk and tablespoon of butter to your mash potatoes is optional but it does make it more creamier.)
2.Cook ground beef, when done drain grease and put ground beef in the mixing bowl with mash potatoes.
3.Mix together.
4.Heat cooking oil and put the meat with the potatoes in the corn tortillas like a taco.
5. Put the taco into the cooking oil, fry for about a minute on each side or until the shell is crunchy.
6. Remove and place on plate with paper towels (to soak up unwanted grease)
7. Enjoy

My dad won a rib contest by soaking his ribs in Dr. Pepper overnight. They tasted amazing. Something about the sugar/syrup from dark soda being absorbed into the meat makes it so good.

MMMmmm... never had tater tacos before but it sounds tasty
I made burritos tonight with seasoned ground turkey, diced onion and peppers, green chillies, frijoles, cheese, salsa, shredded lettuce, and a dab of plain yogurt. The plain yogurt makes a great substitute for sour cream with a fraction of the fat.
and some apple turnovers. yum.
p.s. I can't believe I just had to add the word "burrito" to my spellcheck dictionary WTF?

I made a cola pork butt one time and got a caffeine buzz from eating a sammy
you cover the shoulder roast with about a liter or more of coke and by the time the meat is shred worthy the liquid is reduced to a sort of sauce.... so it also concentrates the caffeine

I'm thinking about making sausage, peppers, and onions in tomato sauce today. Sauce made from frozen tomatoes from my garden, mmm.

Eggplant "lasagna" . . . thinly sliced eggplant layered with seasoned ricotta, sautéed chard, and tomato sauce topped with parm and breadcrumbs . . . with freshly baked French bread.
