Took my dogs for a nice long walk this morning in the rain and found some Panaeolus cinctulus lying around

Then took a quick trip to some fields and found some Panaeolus cyanescens
A Eastern Coachwhip wanted to guide me to the magic shrooms

Im southeast houston, no idea why I don't see cubes at the fields I check though. I always heard cubes are what shroom hunting in texas is all about and even heard of them being found in fields I have been to in the past but now I only see cyans.

Not all fields produce. If the field you are looking in shows no actives, look for another. We had 7" of rain 1 week ago. If you could not find actives in your field after no rain, check another out. Persistence pays off! I have been gone for 1 week on business and missed peak time in my field, but when I got back, I found actives. Unfortunately, most of what I found were mostly dried up as I expected.

It seems that very few listened to my words! I told you guys that you needed to hit the fields last Wednesday. I was in Massachusetts then on business and could not hunt until I got back. I missed alot of actives. Well, I finally made it home and went hunting this morning. I found alot of dried up shrooms. People that did not listen to a veteran hunter, missed the boat. I do have some actives shots along with some other things I ran across in my adventure. Here is my results!

 Other shrooms in the field

Here are a couple of photos examples of dried up actives. I found many of these.

Here is one local that I ran accross in my hunt.

Personally, I don't think there are many more beautiful things in this world than a stunning bluing panaeolus or copelandia cyanescens.

Thanks for sharing the beauty "mushroom" man

I'll show you the ropes apple juicer! lets meet at McDonalds and then we'll go pick some bomb ass cubensis and smoke them...
You know, to his credit. I don't think hes a cop. A cop wouldn't be so stupid bold. Probably a 15 year old just Jones'n to see whats up with these "magic" mushrooms...
Oooo boy does he have mountains of information to learn...

I searched my field for 2 hours saturday night and found a lot of mushrooms but unfortunately none were of the bluing varieties if you catch my drift.
Nice finds Nushroom. Glad someone got some of the bounty that the storms brought through. If only we could get some more.

figured blatent boldness was the best way to show non law enforcement affiliation. could be worse ways to do it. besides, as it turns out, there is no law against 2 peoeple talking about shrooms or even going out to a field and just "looking" at them. dont need to nuke it guys, it's a simple issue with many solutions.

Mabye there aren't laws about that but there's rules here, if you want to keep this a safe environment then obey the rules. and humidity and yes rain is good. this should help too... mushroom locations Psilocybin Species read up on some of this and go bring us back some cubes buddy good luck!!
