I'm pretty sure that is a Salvia Splendens. It is reputed to be psychoactive.

Have you tried it? I for sure have not, but a lot of people swear by the plant and seem pretty enthusiastic about it too. It is supposed to be a long lasting high, more sedating than hallucinogenic, but psychoactive non the less. Psylo33o of this site made a post about it a while ago. There is also a piece about it on Daniel Sieberts site as well as on Edot

I have smoked lots of splendens. it is Quite Psychoactive.. smoked me a bowl of the flowers mixed with leaves and i couldnt stop laughing and smiling.. It is indeed a good allie and i still love me a salvia splendens bowl here and there.. also.. if you smoke some divinorum, then smoke some splendens. it smooths the divinorum and makes it last longer.. An hour or so compared to a couple of minutes with straight divinorum... just my 2 pennies.

many of the salvias seem to be psychoactive, divinorum is the most powerful in that respect

Is S. splendens common at greenhouses? It would make a nice addition to my garden. Really nice looking plant.

Thanks Neuro. I get a discount at Lowes, since a family member works there, maybe I'll have him pick one up for me.
