If we want to play What Number are You! I will tell you that I ran a 4:28 1500m which is 109 meters short of a mile. Roughly 4 years ago back when I ran 5K's. Short distance ticked me off though, in the summer doing sub 70 second 400 meter repeats would always get on the wrong side of my respiratory tract. Which, is not nearly as enjoyable as running 7:20 miles for a few hours.
Do any of you have runner's high stories?

Yep, my knees hate running. That is why I turned to swimming and biking for my needs

def one of my new years resolutions... that and quitting smoking. i was doing real well until the festive season. could totally breath and shit.

I too was more of a cyclist, but i'm amazed at the different muscle groups running works out that the bike doesn't, and it's just so easy to throw shoes on and run out the door. I love it. I was running every day, then got lazy. Once it's warm again I'll get out more... I do either a 1.5 mi or 3mi ish, don't time myself, i'm just doing it for fun. I'll throw in sprints here and there but I hafta agree, you really don't warm up and fall into form until the second lap, keeping up a steady pace for a long time is great...
Shoot, ima go for a quick night run right now!
