I know that I could have just edited, but you probally wouldnt have checked back here if i did... well its 4am so gimmie a break anyways
I was also curious to know if there was a possibility that when using the dunk tek, if you uses a saturated solution of water and ... i dunno sugar? or perhaps water and some guano, or any other poo, if maybe that could increase the ability of the cake to flush again? if anyone can answer that or provide some info that would be much appreciated

Nitrogen is good. Too much nitrogen is bad. As in guano.

What about dunking in a mix, i know SUGAR isnt the BEST example, but i mean, isnt there anything creative that someone can think of (with the knowledge some of the ppl here MUST KNOW) that can bring them to a hypothesis of some sorts? a prediction? anything? thanks Anno btw

Perhaps if you enter the actual subject into the subject line it would have been answered. Try substituting Guano instead of "this" next time.
Listen to Anno. And anytime you dunk your cake into a nutritious fluid, you introduce a huge possibility of contamination and you could end up with a nasty cake, or one that won?t produce as much mushrooms. Try plain water (non chlorinated), with a hint of peroxide added. If anything, pasteurized poo water could be effective, don?t use sugar.
I love the phrase poo water Only on the shroomery

and not to mention that despite the fact that cow's have 4 stomachs they only digest about 30% of their food...leaving 70% undigested grass...which you could think of as composted straw...bats either eat bugs or fruit...

As other people've said, guano has too much nitrogen in it, various forms. Pure guano -- or pure chicken shit -- are great high-N fertilizers, but you really have to spread 'em out and dilute them, or they'll kill plants. There's little chance that they'd make a good primary substrate for shrooms.

Humans are not "higher" on the evolutionary chain than moths, we just fill diffrent niches. Hell if you wanted to pick a real "winner" in the evolutionary chain I would say bacteria! There is a reason we have to PC grain...those buggers are strong and numerous.

Well, cellulose is technically a kind of starch -- it's a polysaccheride, but assembled in a left-handed way, IIRC, so most organisms can't digest it. Same thing with chitin, IIRC. That's the job of fungi and bacteria.

>Well, cellulose is technically a kind of starch No, it?s not. Cellulose is a polysaccharide and starch is a polysaccharide. And that?s about it. Trust me, you don?t want to eat your socks, they are not made out of starch...
