it takes between 1 and 2 days. if medium is wrong youll get nothing.

DynoMyc is correct in my experience. Some strains will germinate in 3-5 days and some much longer. My current batch of Eq took seven days to show and now they are colonizing increadibly fast. One wild picked PNW strain I isolated 3yrs ago only takes 3 days to develop quarter size growths of mycelium and will colonize a 1/2 gallon jar of birdseed fully in 19 days.

If you get germination in 1 or 2 days, it is probably contams rather than mushie spores. Probably, not certainly.
