No, he means PH. I would guess he wants to adjust the PH of a casing layer with it, instead of something like lime. I would like to know if this would work as well.

Dont use it...read the labels instructions because it will say something to the effect of Toxic to humans not for human consumption! You cannot even consume fish that are fed Tropical fish food...This has been asked before and you just need lime if you want a neutral casing.I like it when someone asks about things that have to do with trop fish because i like showing off the fish i breed...

Those are very nice. What are they, and how much do you want for some. I got a 75 gal, full of yellow labs that need some friends, if these would go with them.

Labidichromis or Labs are pretty doscile and will go with most Alounacaras but not in a 75 gallon tank...I have several Alounacaras Ngaras that i am going to sell with very good females so pm me if you are interested...I also have several Electric blues that are fabulous but they are kinda mean but you can keep them in a 75 with the Ngaras ...same species..African Peacocks! they are so cool...see pic of Electric blue Daddy! Sorry the pic quality isnt that great

Don't bother with that crap.

Decrease pH: Use vinegar.
Increase pH: Use lime, oyster shells, or baking soda.

Yeah. Calcium Bicarbonate. It's a base, and commonly added to baked goods in addition to an acid to raise the batter.

...You know, the stuff you mix with vinegar to make those big foamy volcanos?
