Cap and Stem Potency

I am a little hazy on which part of a mushroom(specificly P.cubensis) is the most potent. I think it is the caps but would like to know for sure.

The whole mushroom has the same potency, no part is more or less.

Yea its all the same, but some people say caps are more potent as a sales pitch
