you know 311 is code for KKK right? If a=1, b=2, c=3 etc... then k=11 3x 11 = KKK

And it will be amazing, they're not gonna play like 10 more songs than normal, but the sets will changed up a lot more, you'll hear songs they don't play very often. The usual 311 set is between 24 and 28 songs including the encore.
I'm picking up the album on friday, only 2 and a half more days. whoohoooo.

I really hope you're kidding. You'd have to be the most ignorant person in the world to actually believe that to be true. 311 stand for nothing but the opposite of that. That whole KKK rumor is a fucking joke, it kinda pisses me off people even bring that up anymore. Some fuckhead made that up like 8 years ago and people still mention it, unreal.

I'm glad you were joking. A lot of people actually believe that bullshit, which is sad.

Yes, they do have a really long set list. The bands that open for them ussualy suck balls though (i think atleast) the second show in madison, The one we were both at had a decent opener. I like the sound in the expo center,it's different. If you said it sounded like an airplane hanger then your the second person ive heard that from. The first was at the actuall show, and they were right behind us, so 3rd and 4th in line.

The second Madison show was the shitty opener bro, they were called One Side Zero and they sucked! The original opener 311 had scheduled for that tour bailed on them at the last minute so they had to find a quick fill in, that's why. The first Madison show had a kick ass opening band, they were Jimmie's Chicken Shack and they rock! 311 sometimes will take a shitty band out, but not very often. They're best opener in recent years was Incubus in the summer of 2000. G Love and Special Sauce is right up there with them though. This is going to be a great tour.
Be sure to pick up the album on tuesday. Let's just say i've heard it already, and it's as good as anything they've put out. I rate it up there with Grassroots and Transistor.

311's got a very positive vibe. Beautiful vocals, and very tight on the instruments. Actually they have been the only band that has made me want to get up and dance just listening to their CD, and I am not a dancing type of guy
They give me mental pictures of really beautiful rainy days.
I like Soundsystem and From Chaos alot. I'll have to check out Transistor.
Feels like standing still.... What now? All we can do is try....
To shut it down....

Soundsystem and From Chaos are actually their two worst albums believe it or not. From Chaos definatly being the worst. Most people like Music, Grassroots and Transistor the best. But myself, after hearing the new record "Evolver" I have to say it's my new favorite.
This new CD simply tops anything they've ever put out. It truly is a masterpiece and deserves every award the music industry has to offer. I am on cloud 9 since downloading it. I can't wait to buy it on Tuesday.

Oh wow, your right dude. the first opener was kick ass. The second, one side zero, sucked balls. I didnt even want to get high while they were on stage. they were like the opposite of 311's music.
