Dunking cakes before Casing?
    #1743543 - 07/24/03 01:07 AM (20 years, 8 months ago)

Ok so have read most of the faqs on casing but wanted to know if my cactus should dunk/cold shock his cakes before he crumbles and cases them?

The casing will give them moisture again not to worry. But if you want to dunk go ahead it's not going to do any damage you will just lose time.It may set you back a day or 2 and just to get the same results from casing why bother

I crumble them before dunking, more surface = more moisture.

If you have a lot of time on your hands and are inclined then you could dunk after every flush. Just strip the casing material off, re-crumble, dunk/cold shock, re-case.

It's as though the rains came.
