Cultivating Wild Species

I've got some prints of wild mushrooms I found growing in mulch near my house. I took 15 spore prints and I'm confident at least one is sterile, I did it under fairly sterile conditions. I found them growing in mulch so I was wondering if I wanted to cultivate these mushrooms of a species I don't even know; Could I take mulch, soak it, load it in jars and then PC it, let it cool and inoculate with a wild syringe? I'm positive they aren't psychedelics, but I want to do it for educational purposes. I plan to make a grow log if anyone thinks this is feasable or not. Thanks.
