Understandable. Thanks for clarifying your ideas with silver. Good luck

Sure. I have large amounts of cash. I do have some PM's, but It is rather minimal.. I recently got invested in the stock market where I currently own AGNC, ARR, ATVI, BKCC, and VE. Most of my savings has been in CD's which I am slowly moving out and into more lucrative investments. I've been meaning to get a hold better of my investments. maybe a new years resolution.

The king of bonds Bill Gross, who is very bearish on the long bond, and has turned gold bull, Gross even says the US gold reserves are based on nothing more than faith, great read, check it out.

Yup, buy the dips and keep an eye on interest rates. I just read an piece this morning that touches on interest rates. In short, if interest rates rate rise, you'll see:
"The bottom line: going from just 2% to 3% interest, will result in total 2022 debt rising from $31.4 trillion to $34.1 trillion; while "jumping" from 2% to just the long term historical average of 5%, would push total 2022 debt to increase by a whopping $9 trillion over the 2% interest rate base case to over $40 trillion in total debt!
Sadly, this is no "magic" - this is the reality that awaits the US.
And for those more curious about that other critical economic indicator, debt/GDP, the three scenarios result in the following 2022 debt/GDP ratios:
2% interest - 169%; 3% interest - 183.5%; and 5% interest - 217%, or just shy of where Japan is now."
http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2013-01-06/magic-compounding-impact-1-change-rates-total-2022-us-debt -----------------------------------------------
The funny yet sad thing is that interest rates below 5% were unheard just a few years ago.

It's a good article, but I really don't think we will see the debt ever reaching $30-40 trillion, here is why.
Today, with over $16 trillion of debt, our interest payments will be over $450 billion this year, or 18% of total tax revenue, and that is with a very low interest rate.
With $22 trillion of debt(in 3-4 years), and a average interest rate of say 4.5% (still very low), our interest payments are now $1 trillion per year, or 40% of total tax revenue. That is the "end game" at that point, and there is point of continuing with the current monetary system, it's very simple math that our policy makers will never talk about, I wonder why?

That is simple math. Your example is based off of an interest rate of only 4.5% If for some reason it were to go higher, both the interest payments on the debt and the amount withdrawn from tax revenues would be much, much worse.
Much worse.
Gman, I hope more people see your posts.
As for the one trillion dollar coin.. If platinum were more mainstream I would say it was a buy. But most people don't know the difference between silver and nickel let alone platinum. As Pepe' Le Peu would say, "Le Sigh."

They are manipulating the price of both gold and silver. Eventually they will no longer be able to do that and prices will explode. When will this happen? When people realize inflation is their number 1 enemy and they have to put cash into something solid. In brazil people would rush out and spend their paychecks soon as the got them because prices would go up each and every day.
The endgame is coming, they are trading on the good name of usa but even that comes to an end. They prop up europe for a little longer and put a bandaid over our gaping financial mess and the market goes wild. Its starting to go the other way but i dont see major problems with the economy coming to a head for a couple years more. It will be hard for the pres to blame w but watch him try. Its really because of the last 20 years of kick the can policies.
I'm holding my r/e and gold. I'll only sell a house if i'm going to grab a profit and reinvest. Cash is not king any longer and will some day become the jester.

I was at a coin shop, a rather large, franchised shop the other day and was a little surprised to hear that they payout $1.00 more for silver/gold US coins than "foreign" coins. In my mind I'm thinking that Canadian Maple Leafs, Krugerrands, etc. are all known worldwide. I believe it's a cheap ploy for the company to pay out less than they should.
I'm bringing this up because now is a buyers market (then again, based on gman's post, that may change.) In other words, if you want to buy silver now it's not hard to do. If/when the time comes when you need to sell, ask yourself who your clients will be. If they're coin dealers, great. If they're the average guy on the street who knows nothing about precious metals, it may be better to pay a slight premium now so that it's easier to move later.
Then again, Sunshine Silver Bars are pretty nice
