Giant Pholiota and scenery

Drove up Larch Mt. road today with a friend.
Found some beautiful places

And a few giant Pholiota (I think) growing from a branch of a big leaf maple, Acer macrophyllum. The white balance of an iphone is pretty bad. Sorry about that.

I was driving down the highway outta the mountains and saw this as I was passing. I hit the brakes hard, after checking my mirrors, and jumped out. Their color was so much better in person. I am going to just put my crappy digital camera in my truck and use that from now on.
Still rad to share anyway.
I love the picture under the biggest one. That is picture #6.
