Has anyone heard anymore news stories about the anthrax attacks? It seems like it just sorta dissapeared from the media. Last I heard The feddys found some kind of small lab set up somewhere. Anymore info on this?

Anthrax is a pretty sophisticated manufacture. I very much suspect it came from within US gov. Labs.

Who is they? The FBI is still working on the case. Just because the media is not talking about it, doesn't mean it is not being worked on. I guess THEY made up the DC sniper to scare us to, huh?

I dont see why millions of people would give a second thought to a sniper or anthrax. Probably about .00o1% of the American population was killed by it...i guess im next? Its only life, i would rather live life without worries rather than to live life constantly scared that some "big bad man" (probably colored..of course!) was going to kill me. Big deal..Your chances of getting hit by a bus are hundreds of times more likely.
Fuck, people are idiots.

That's easy to say when no one is going around your city randomly shooting people in the head with a rifle. The odds may be low, but it still scares people. When your country has it's planes flown into it's own building, someone sends deadly bacteria through the mail, and a sniper terrorizes your capitol you have the right to call people idiots for worrying about their safety. The odds may be low, but terrorism is a powerful thing. The randomness of it is the scary part.

Is living in paralyzing fear better? Why arnt these people paralyzed to go on a business trip? Or ride a bus? Drive a car? Cross the street? The odd's are MUCH higher that you will get killed any of those ways. Its easy to be scared when the media shove's it down your throat and you buy it...

Whatever. I am not talking about paralyzing fear. We go on with our lives and do our shit. Being afraid doesn't mean you have to shut down and stay inside. My main point is that if a sniper is loose in your city killing randomly from afar, you may act a little different then you think.

Look at toronto with SARS...what a joke. Its all just made out to be a big priority on the news. The one person that opens a letter with white powder is the headline on every national news network for a week, but the guy that got ran over by the bus gets a 30 second slot after sports.
