ACT NOW!! The most important medical marijuana vote the movement has
faced in ten years - maybe ever - is being decided TODAY (and not
tomorrow as orginally scheduled).
CALL YOUR REPRESENTATIVE. Tell him or her to vote in favor of the
Hinchey-Rohrabacher amendment.
Opponents of medical marijuana in Congress are speeding up the vote on
the amendment that would protect medical marijuana patients from
federal attack in states with medical marijuana laws.
If you do not call NOW, your Representative may vote against medical
marijuana.

--I'm calling to urge you to support the Hinchey/Rohrabacher
(pronounced HINCH-E/ROY-BOCKER) amendment to the Justice-Commerce-State
appropriation bill. This amendment protects states' rights and medical privacy
by preventing the federal government from undermining state medical
marijuana laws. I'm a federal taxpayer and I'm upset that my money is being
used to arrest AIDS and cancer patients.

He can't run, there is a requirement that the President must be a natural-born citizen of the United States.
He's a hard core Republican anyway, can you imagine the tears the left would shed? Priceless.

While he's been relatively quiet about his positions, when asked how he thinks he'd stand a chance in a very liberal state (California), he said he's fiscally conservative but socially liberal. I wouldn't call that "hard core Republican".

Yes, he's definitely socially liberal. He's pro-choice and probably pro-legalization. One may call him a hard-core Republican, because that means he's just loyal, but he's definitely not a hard-core conservative. He'd probably do very well in California because he is socially very liberal.

I contacted my congressman with this site--http://www.cflweb.org/congress_merge_.htm and I urge you all to bookmark it and use it yourself. It makes it very easy to contact your officials. You type in your name and zip code and shit and it gives you your congressman, senator, as well as the prez, vp, attorney general, and secretary of state and in many cases there is already a form letter for you to use in popular cases if you're a lazy bastard. You can write your congressman in like 2 minutes.
EDIT--
I just realized by exploring the site more it's a site made for the purposes of Arabs... makes sense seeing as how I got it from an Arab. Oh well.. I know there are more sites that make it easy just like this and they come highly recommended. I also don't think it tells the official where it came from, so this works anyways.
