Hyphal knots on a casing

Is this a bad thing? I was under the impression that the shroom formation occured under the casing layer. If I see a whole lot of hyphal knots all over the surface of the casing has something gone wrong?

Knots are good.

I guess I have just been overly paranoid of overlay, the damn casing has taken forever to reach this point. I guess I just had the impression that the formation was under the surface and that my mycelium was too exposed, IE the casing wouldn't hold the humidity. Thats the gist of it, but good to know its not bad. Looks like it might be a good flush.

yeah hyphal knots means that the mycelium is starting to form pins(not at the pinning stage YET)
